Local football leagues & competitions in Malaysia are usually joined by state football associations and well-known football clubs.
However... that does not mean that there is no football association at the district level. Batu Pahat District also have a district football association, the Batu Pahat District Football Association (BPFA).
The name BPFA may not be unknown on the national football stage because BPFA only participates in leagues and football competitions organized at the Johor state level only. Most of the opposing teams that oppose BPFA are the district football associations in the state of Johor. Even BPFA have never participated in the Malaysian football league division 3, the FAM League.
In Malaysia... it can be said that almost all football associations, including state football associations, do not have their own stadiums because most stadiums are rented from stadium corporations in their respective areas. The same thing happened to BPFA as BPFA is just a district level football association.
Batu Pahat Stadium which is located near Jalan Pejabat Batu Pahat is more open-field so that some locals from Batu Pahat district feel that the Malaysia Tun Hussein Onn University (Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia, UTHM) stadium located in Parit Raja is much better in the stadium. compared to Batu Pahat Stadium.
Maybe it is time for BPFA to have its own football stadium and at the same time bring BPFA to a new era of football in this district. The football stadium does not have to be too big... just a mini stadium that fits the population ratio of this district.
