The world is in the process of entering the world of 5G high speed internet and Malaysia also does not want to be left behind in the current world of science & technology advancement especially when talking about the speed of the internet that can affect the way human civilization conducts their daily lives.
At the time this blogpost was being typed... Batu Pahat District there are only two residential internet service providers (Home ISP) only namely TM Streamyx or now known as TM Unifi Lite and TM Unifi. Most towns and small towns in this district still have only residential ISPs (Home ISPs) provided by TM Streamyx or now known as TM Unifi Lite whose maximum speed is 1 MBPS.
Only towns like Batu Pahat (Penggaram), Yong Peng & Parit Raja only have a residential ISP (Home ISP) TM Unifi that has a speed of more than just 1 MBPS.
Although this district already has a residential ISP (Home ISP) TM Unifi... but this district still does not have a residential ISP (Home ISP) Time that can offer a high speed internet experience at a more competitive price.
At the time this blogpost is being typed... Home ISP (Home ISP) Time provides 3 plans that can be subscribed by residential type customers that is 1GBPS at RM199, 500 MBPS at RM139 & 100 MBPS at RM99. All 3 plans can be subscribed provided they enter into a 24-month subscription contract.
However, at the time this blogpost was being typed... this service is only available in major cities in Malaysia such as the Klang Valley, Johor Bahru, Penang & the city of Melaka only.
Given that the 5G era has just begun in the world and even in Malaysia... the author of this blog hopes that one day in the future... Time residential ISPs will start to enter the areas of small towns in Malaysia.
If followed in terms of population and economic growth... Batu Pahat has the potential for ISP Time to set foot here after Johor Bahru in the state.
I hope this becomes a reality one day in the future.
The question now is... is Batu Pahat ready for Time internet network service provider?...
