Batu Pahat city (Penggaram) there are only 3 malls, namely The Summit Batu Pahat (Jalan Bakau Chondong), Square One (Taman Flora Utama) and Batu Pahat Mall (better known by locals in this district as BP Mall. Located at Jalan Kluang). There is one mall that is no longer operating which is Wira Court located in Taman Bukit Pasir.
At the time this blogpost was being typed... the largest mall in the city of Batu Pahat (Penggaram) and even the largest in this district is Batu Pahat Mall (BP Mall).
The first mall in Batu Pahat city (Penggaram) and even the first in this district is The Summit Batu Pahat. The Summit Batu Pahat started operating in 1996 and the mall is over 20 years old.
Looking at the population of Batu Pahat city (Penggaram) and even this district which is growing and even the purchasing power is increasing... plus the first mall in Batu Pahat district is over 20 years old... in the opinion of the author of this blog.. It is time for Batu Pahat city (Penggaram) and this district has the first AEON Mall in Batu Pahat city (Penggaram) and this district so that Batu Pahat district residents and neighboring districts like Muar district, Segamat district, Kluang district & Pontian district do not need go to AEON Mall in Kulai district & Johor Bahru district to go out shopping or just hang out at the mall alone, with family or friends.
A few years before when this blogpost was being typed... there was a plan from AEON Retails Malaysia to build an AEON Mall in this district located near Pura Kenchana Sri Gading but the plan was canceled due to the government canceling plans to build a high-speed train where one of the stations is in the Sri Gading area.
Anyway... the author of this blog hopes that AEON Retails Malaysia has an interest in building AEON Mall in this district one day in the future.
